[shadow=silver,left,300]Darcia sniffed the air. The scent of a brute filled this territory, making him grow uneasy. He slowly allowed his legs to strech out before continuing to walk forward. His one yellow eye glinted in the darkness of the cave in the tall moutains, while his blue was dull, covering up the dark side that raged within him. His paws felt sore on the hard ground. Yes, he had a feeling the brute would want him out of here, but Darcia never went down without a fight.
A star flew by, the only light in the sky to be seen for many miles. Darcia glanced up and howled. He had alerted the other male of his position. Now, he would wait for that male to come to him. Feeling the sting of the cold breeze against his side, he crouched down and gazed ahead. He did not let his guard down however, and continued to twitch every now and then as another gust of powerful and wild wind pushed down from the tallest of the moutains in the entire range. [/shadow]

Demon Doggy sniffs the air and gives a howl. He can sense another wolf smells like a male intruderthe thought. He loped towards the scent, eyes watching every single movement. He was being very cautious. As he walked, he observed a couple of rabbits. Not worth going after them right now. Sighing, he continued his search as a lone leaf blew across his path. He was going to the intruder.

Her pelt brushed against a leaf. She shivered, hating the contact. She scanned the area, first with her eyes, then with her nose. Two males. Neither were friendly. So, a battle, was it? She always loved a good brawl. Swiftly, she moved, darting, a fleeting shadow through the lands. Almost there. Halted. Watching. Best to see what was to happen before revealing herself.

Demon Doggie picked up another scent. A female somewhere near by. He was interested but did not let his gaurd down. Cautiosly he came closer. He could see the wolf in full view.It was a young male wolf and the females scent was stronger now. Glancing around he looked for her but saw no one.Sighing he approached the stranger and asked who are you and what do you want? As he waited for a reply he cautiously sniffed the air.

Ah. One had noticed her. She crept a little closer, almost revealing herself. Her ears came forward as she heard one speak. She flattened herself to the ground, ready to jump in. This was going to be fun. She heard a scurrying sound as a rabbit tried to escape a hawk. The wind blew sharply, ruffling her fur and leaving her a little chilled. A god day for a fight. The conditions were unpredictable, and a fight would warm her up. How long until the fight? It seemed that males always took so long to get to the action.

[glow=red,2,300]A growl rumbled in Darcia's throat. He turned to face the male, but the scent of a fae was also near by, and he was cautious about what might be moving in the tall grass, or behind a rock. His yellow eye darted wildly around in it's socket, uncontrollable. His blue eye focused on the male, narrowing slightly. His heart beat increased suddenly as a rush of adrenaline was pumped throughout his body.
"I am here to claim the position of alpha, and will not settle for anything less," he said with an evil grin. He barred his fangs, showing their long, curved shape. His hackles were raised. He knew what he wanted, and it wouldn't take long to get it. Breathing heavily, Darcia began to slowly circle the male, who was completely defenseless against his wide array of tactics to kill or wound. [/glow]

Ahhhh...they were finally getting to the fight. She crept closer, ready to spring in and finish off the loser. She would take the glory of the kill. She knew they had both smelled her. But they could not see her. Her black pelt was to close to the color of the shadows she stood in. she would not be noticed until it was too late.

[glow=red,2,300] Darcia wasn't confused. The wolf hadn't made a move yet for one reason... to fire a quick counter at him. He was light on his feet as he bounded straight behind the wolf, and then to the side of him. The fierce wind had no effects on his movements, for his body was to bulky to even flinch against the powerful gusts. His yellow eye scanned his surroundings, taking in every last detail of the place around him. His blue eye focused on the opponent, who as at no position for a decent attack... but a counter most certainly.
Darcia pushed off the ground hard with his hind paws and flew through the air at an astounding speed. He prepared himself for the impact in case he didn't hit the wolf, and hit the ground instead. It all depended on his opponent's actions. He opened his jaws to reveal all of his sharp, white teeth. Soon, they would be coated in thick red blood. [/glow]

She could not wait any longer. The males just took too long. She jumped to her feet, then bounded into the clearing. she aimed for the attacked. The attacker would put up to much of a fight. She could feel the ground underneath her give way to the pelt of the doomed. Her teeth sought a hold on the neck of her victim. She prepared herself for the taste of blood, the smell of death. The feeling of victory.
